We got to work with this beauty as a stationary bird. Peregrine Falcons are the fastest animals on the planet in an aerial dive. They hunt other birds, including ducks, by descending on them from above! One of my goals in the coming years is to get a photo of one in flight!
The last bird I shot at Mountsberg was this amazing peregrine falcon. This bird was illegally bred in captivity and later rescued from an abusive individual. Luckily, Mountsberg runs a raptor rescue centre that makes sure that birds like this peregrine live a decent life after facing abuse.
