I love the tiny little critters I can find in my own backyard and in this case found in my bathroom! Spiders are quite fascinating and absolutely beautiful. Jumping spiders are by far one of my favourite kinds, they just look so darn cute!

There is so much wildlife present if you take the time to look for it. In this case I heard there were herons hanging around a stream off of the Iron Horse trail. Never expected to find a green heron! The fact that a bird like this was hanging around so close to downtown Kitchener just goes to show the importance of green spaces.

Having lived a good chunk of my life in northern Canada I have been able to watch the aurora borealis on many occasions. It wasn’t until recently that I was able to capture it. I have only managed to get green in my shots so far, but regardless of the colour the northern lights are a fascinating part of our world!

Being a new mom has given me plenty of opportunities to work on my baby/infant photography. My little one definitely understands what it means when I bring out the camera and she seems to love every minute of it!

Welcome! I will be using this space to share my passion for photography. That being said, most of the content will probably be of the nature variety. To kick off my photo blog I give you cows! Be sure to check back and follow on my adventures.
